Contact Us Messages

When visitors send messages on the site we collect the data shown in the contact form and email it to the owners to review.

If you opt-in to being updated by the owners with offers and updates, your email address will be recorded in a list solely for that purpose. Your email address and any other information shared will at no time be given, sold or shared with any other parties.

If you opt-in to being updated by our holiday booking agent, Spa Properties, we will share your details with them for that purpose.

We do not offer logins to our website, nor any other functions that require use of cookies to be stored on your computer.

We do not embed content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.) from other websites on our website.

We do have a small number of links to other websites for the purposes of providing you with capability to book the Blue House on their websites.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website. Being on separate websites than our one, their privacy approach is outside the scope of this privacy statement, and you should, if necessary, consult the privacy statement on those other sites for further information.

How long we retain your data

For users that subscribe to updates from us, we will store your email contact details until such time as you ask us to unsubscribe. You can do this simply by emailing us at holidays@the-blue-house.co.uk from the subscribed email address, and asking to unsubscribe.

For guests who have left us reviews or comments, we will hold these continue to publish them on the online Guest Book, until you ask us to remove them. Simply email us at holidays@the-blue-house.co.uk from the original email address and ask us to remove your review, comments, messages or contact details.

What rights we have over other guest data

If you have booked with us through one of our booking agents, we do not obtain, retain or use your data for the purposes of this website. Any access to your booking data is solely governed by the policies of the specific booking agent (Spa Properties, Airbnb, Booking.com etc).
